Hearth, Shore and Orchard. Hand-poured 8oz soy candles with cotton wicks and about 45 hours of warm, steady light in each.
Hearth is woodsmoke, amber and cedar. Shore is sea salt, driftwood and bergamot. Orchard is apple, pear skin and clove.
Ember & Oak is a two-person shop that makes exactly three candles. We pour Hearth, Shore and Orchard in small batches, 8oz of soy wax at a time, each with a cotton wick and about 45 hours of burn. We kept the range small on purpose: three scents we can pour carefully and stand behind. Warm, calm and unfussy is the whole idea.
Trim the cotton wick to about a quarter inch before each burn.
On the first burn, let the wax pool reach the glass so it burns evenly.
Burn in stretches of two to four hours, away from drafts.
Each 8oz candle gives roughly 45 hours of light. Never leave a flame unattended.
